and Study Options |

The College prepares students
for examinations conducted by the UP Board of High School
and Intermediate Education, Allahabad, and the Indian
School Certificate (ISC) Examination conducted by the
Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New
Delhi.
The Primary
Section (Classes
Lower KG to 5) feeds students to both the streams. The
Junior School comprises students from Classes 6 to 8 while
the Senior School comprises students from Classes 6 to
12.
All the general subjects are taught from Classes 6 to
8; English, Hindi, Science, Math, History, Geography,
General Knowledge, Moral Science, Physical Training, Art,
Sanskrit/ Urdu and Computers.
The aim of the curriculum is
to provide all-round development. The performance of the
students is evaluated on a regular basis. Besides the
two Unit Tests that are held in each term, there are two
full-fledged examinations: the Half-Yearly Examination
and the Final Examination. Rules of promotion are framed
and applied judiciously. The weaker students may avail
themselves of the benefits of Remedial Classes that are
held in the College from time to time. |
| Chronic defaulters may be detained for
a fixed time after school hours in which they can make
up the work they have neglected. |

At the CBSE Board, the subjects of study
in Class 9 include English, Hindi, Science, Math, Social
Science and a 6th subject which can be either Art or Commerce.
A choice of subjects is given in Class 9 in the ISC stream.
They can choose one of the two options available between
Science and Commerce. |

In the Science option,
the subjects of study include English, Hindi/Computers,
Science, Math, History and Geography. |

In the Commerce
option, students have to study English, Hindi/Computers,
Commerce, Economics/Math, History and Geography.

At the plus two level, likewise, there
is a choice between Hindi and Computers, Economics and
Business Math, Biology and Pure Math in the ISC stream.
In the CBSE Board, the College offers courses in Science,
Commerce and Arts.
Besides the regular syllabi prescribed by the two boards
of education, students are trained in a number of cultural
and co-curricular activities.
Moral Science Classes are compulsory and an ethical and
moral behavior, in line with the glorious traditions of
the country, is stressed on. Due care is taken to ensure
that a child develops an all round personality. Talented
and exceptionally brilliant students are identified and
rewarded from time to time. |
