The College has all the three wings of
the N. C. C. The training imparted to the students during
routine drills, lec-dems and at the Annual Camps has fostered
among the cadets a love for the Defense Services. The
College sends a few cadets to the National Defense Academy
at Khadakvasla every year.
Similarly, cadets attend the Annual Training Camps for
Sea Training and Ship Attachments. A good many of our
cadets pass the B and C certificates conducted by the
N. C. C. Directorate on behalf of the Director General,
N. C. C., New Delhi.
Parades are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, before the
General Assembly, under the expert supervision of commissioned
N. C. C. officers.

SUPW periods are included in the Time
Table, not merely to fulfil examination requirements but
to involve the students in the life of the community.
No man is an island, and even the most aristocratic has
eventually to realise the dignity of labour. The elite,
indeed, as the College motto points out, have an obligation
towards society.
Regular excursions are made to the shanties and it is
a pleasure to watch our children carry the torch of learning
among the poor and destitute. Contemporary issues are
brought into the limelight. Literacy Campaigns are organized.
The benefits of health and hygiene are pointed out.
Various crafts like bookbinding, cane weaving, clay modelling,
paramedical and first aid are taught in the regular classes.

Hockey, Cricket, Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball,
Chess, Carom, Squash, Horse Riding, Gymnastics and Athletics
are the major games that are played season-wise round
the year. There is a PT Display in which the gymnasts
get a chance to show their skills.
Athletic events that include all major Field and Track
events are normally held before the end of the July-December
term.
Apart from the Inter House matches, the students get opportunities
to participate in several friendly matches and tournaments
held in the city as well as in Sports Meets that are held
elsewhere in the state.

Riding Pit |
| |
| Horses have been an emblem of the aristocratic
life style for many years. The children are taught riding
at an early age in the Horse Riding Pit by expert trainers.
It is only after they have overcome their fear of animals
that they will be able to love, and master them. |

| Swimming
Pools |
| |
| The College owns an old swimming pool
which is used by the juniors and a state of the art 6
lane swimming pool complete with water-purification filters
and diving boards for the seniors and professional swimmers.
The tiny tots are taught swimming during school hours
while the Inter House Aquatics are generally held during
the evenings. Members of the staff and their families
are welcome to join the pool only after the students have
retired.
